StartKC & Think Bigger Business Media Host GrowFEST Event to Showcase Local Companies’ Innovation

April 18, 2011 - PRLog -- KANSAS CITY, Mo. – StartKC (www.startkc.com), an entrepreneur association that helps accelerate new and growing businesses in the greater Kansas City area , and Think Bigger Business Media, Inc. (www.ithinkbigger.com) will host GrowFEST on April 19 at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at Johnson County Community College.

GrowFEST is a "first of it's kind" event in Kansas City, showcasing eight innovative companies who are launching disruptive technologies that stand to revolutionize their respective industries. Each business will share an eight-minute presentation to describe how their technology will be a “game changer.” The presenting companies will also demonstrate their businesses and innovations throughout the event to allow the audience to engage with the presenters individually.

“GrowFEST offers one of the most unique opportunities for entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and political leaders to all engage in open discussion,” said Seth Meinzen, co-founder and chief operating officer of StartKC. “We welcome members of the greater Kansas City area business community to join us to share an evening of networking and great ideas.”
