Teapot Rap-It-Up released on appbackr for financing

April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Teapot Rap-It-Up app has just been released on appbackr, the app digital marketplace, for financing.

Originally featured on Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons, Teapot is a wannabe rapper trying to be the next big sensation. Kids use timing and rhyme to guide Teapot through multiple stages of stardom. Young users follow the lyrics and select the words in time with the beat. With each stage, Teapot advances from practicing in his bedroom, to performing on the street corner, to finally performing in front of his idol, the rapper Silkbone.

The app teaches kids timing and rhyme with kid-friendly songs and characters.

The Teapot character has a considerable fan base from its TV show, Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons. The game features five new original raps with over thirty variations. Random! Cartoons is a spin-off of the Nickelodeon animation show Oh Yeah! Cartoons.

Smorgasbord is developing the app for the App Store. The company has been creating visual products for over 8 years, specializing high-end animation. The Teapot Rap-it-Up app will be their first of creation for the mobile platform.

Teapot Rap-It-Up is now available on appbackr for financing for the next 60 days. "Backrs" can purchase licenses of the app for $0.70 and make a profit of 54% when the app sells in the App Store, before the campaign ends on June 14, 2011. With a minimum purchase of $140, a backr earns a potential revenue of $216. The app has a tentative launch date of June 30, 2011.
