Bakery's Cupcakes Rumored to be Available at San Elijo Elementary School's Country Fair

April 12, 2011 - PRLog -- San Elijo Elementary School (SEES), part of the San Marcos Unified School District, will hold its annual Country Fair on Saturday April 30, on school grounds. Rumors swirl that North County's newest food brand will offer its cupcakes for sale individually at the Fair.

The Country Fair is a festive, day long fundraising event, featuring food, games,  demonstrations, dance, and music performances by SEES students and by outside groups.

In addition to supporting itself, at this year's Country Fair the School will collect donations to support the HMM–163, a Marine Corps helicopter squadron during the squadron's seven month deployment on the USS Boxer. Each grade will be collecting items to help the children, families and service members of the squadron.

Highlights of the scheduled activities include:

Musical performances by Atomic Groove

Live demonstrations in Bushikan Karate

Dance performed by the San Elijo Dance and Music Academy

One of the vendors at this year's Fair will be Egg-Free Epicurean (peanut-free and tree nut-free too), an emerging specialty food brand founded by Amy Jones Anichini, mom to two SEES students. The brand creates desserts that are free of eggs, nuts, and peanuts, and sells its cookies and dessert bars online at http://www.EggFreeEpicurean.com/

Egg-Free Epicurean recently added cupcakes, and makes them available to local customers by the dozen. Egg-Free Epicurean has agreed to support the school by selling its sweets at the Fair - rumors swirl that the bakery has even agreed to sell its cupcakes individually at the Fair.
