Kids Sing about food allergy safety to tune of "Jingle Bells": the "Allergy Awareness Anthem"

Nov. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- The Peanut-Free Players don't let their food allergies bring them down!  Jordan Anichini (10) and her sister, Chase (7) perform the Allergy Awareness Anthem to the tune of "Jingle Bells."  The sisters wrote their own lyrics about having a safe plan for navigating the holidays with food allergies.  Never eat food without reading the label, and NEVER eat baked goods that don't have a label.  With a little planning, food allergic kids can celebrate safely and enjoy parties just like kids with no allergies!

Earlier this year, Egg-Free Epicurean had released a public service video (non-musical) to illustrate how food allergic children can still have fun while their parents keep them safe on Halloween.  The 3 minute video depicts the practice of trading unsafe candy for safe treats, which include edible candy and snacks AND small age- and gender-appropriate toys.
