Adopt An Animal Events

April 8, 2011 - PRLog -- If you’re in the market for a furry friend, take your kids to one of these Adopt an Animal Events this Saturday and you can pick out your new family pet.

Meet “Annie” and “Sandy”— and some other adorable cats and dogs that need rescuing — at Count Basie Theatre on Saturday.  Wag on Inn Rescue is trying to re-home dogs and cats.  Your kids can meet “Sandy”, a rescue success story, who will be at the event before going on stage to perform in Annie later that evening.  Phoenix Productions is hosting the event from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Anyone who adopts an animal that day will receive a goody bag of treats and two tickets to see Annie!

Or head over to Sickles Market for its Pet Adoption Day between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Mom, while you’re doing the shopping, your kiddies can pick out their dream dog or the new family kitty.  The Monmouth County SPCA will acquaint you with the pets and help you decide if pet adoption makes sense for you.
