What is Black in America?

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Most Caucasians believe that Egyptians(Modern and Ancient) with the exception of the Black Nubians/people of Kemet(southern Egypt and the Sudan) were basically Arabs(Middle Eastern), are Semitic (White) like the closely related Jews(Middle Eastern), although these groups have similar DNA tests(haplo groups) as the mummies of modern Egyptians who were Semitic (White) and Nubian Egyptians(Black) The majority of the history of Egypt with the exception of its last dynastic period were Nubian not Arabic since 5000 B.C. So why is there such a controversy about who is black?
At the height of slavery in the Americas many tried to justify slavery by stating they were saving the “ignorant and savage Black “Africans from themselves by enslaving them under a Christian and so-called civilized nation. Despite the various atrocities slaves faced such as torture, rape, murder, and child molestation under American slavery these injustices were overlooked as Black slaves were considered not fully human and therefore they could be mutilated tortured and sexually abused and it would not be deemed immoral in the eyes of God. Many Abolitionists brought forth the argument of the great Egyptian dynasties to support fight against the inhumanity of slavery. In the face of this false histories were taught by the European and New World countries to support slavery. Overlooking the fact that even the name Egyptian means people with black faces they began to spin a tale that Egyptians were really not African and drew an invisible line arbitrarily across the Sahara Desert stating that those below the line were Africans and those above were of white lineage in an attempt to steal the legacy of Egyptian industry and genius and support the slave trade. In fact there is still a law in the united states  todaythat despite a persons ethnic background, lineage or complexion if they are from North Africa they must be listed as Caucasian on their identification. The Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Directive 15, designates racial and ethnic categories used in the US Census and in otheri public and private research projects. According to a statement released by the American Anthropological Association (AAA), the US Government should phase out use of the term "race" in the collection of Federal data because the concept has no scientific justification in human biology.The fact is we are all human and race is merely a political construct created to divide or join a people.

According to the AAA, "race is no longer a relevant term yet Americans have been distinguished by color, classified by color, and separated by color perpetuating a national Color Assault Psychosis in the subconscious of most racism is in and of itself as psychosis not founded in any relevant reality except those imposed upon us by the remnants of a once brutal slaveholding society.
There is no such thing as a  Puerto Rican or Cuban race.  That is their country of origin--not their race.  More than 80% of Cubans have African Ancestry) but are classified as White or Hispanic in the US. The same thing is true for Mexicans where 65% of its residents have African Ancestry.  The disappearance of the White recessive gene is a reality unless scientists can scurry to reclassify and catalogue the dominant Black gene pool and expand recessive White Race numbers. The simple fact of the matter is the only real minority in the world is Caucasians.Thus their almost pathological fear of becoming a statistical minority in America. The fear that a dominant number of people of color in this country would use their numbers to impose an unjust and unequal system against them in order to maintain a level of social pivelege, such as exists now for whites in America. Therefore once again as it was then “who is black?” is relevant politically. And politically the huge number of brown people coming to America are looked upon psychologically by many as synonymous with blacks. Let us not forget the United States fought three wars against the Florida Indians because they allowed Africans to join their tribes and intermarry. The first conflict with the Seminoles arose from Andrew Jackson’s attack on “NEGRO FORT” in 1816 because it was a symbol of freedom for many slaves whose masters felt they would run away. Although many of the tribes had been susceptible to European diseases with the intermarrying of the natives and the African the tribes began to grow strong again prompting two more wars, one from 1835-1842 and finally from 1855-1858. So once again skin color was utilized as a political tool the same as racial designation is today. The world essentially is a mosaic and it is up to each one of us not to be fooled into hating someone simply because their complexion adds a little variety to the scenery.
