Lenny Deneb appearing in New York City

March 31, 2011 - PRLog -- London, March 31, 2011 – The Caribbean Recording Industry Association (C.R.I.A) has included reggae-rock singer/songwriter Lenny Deneb on its list of performers to perform at the Ocean Breeze Music Festival & Conference in New York, June 18, 2011. This event was originally earmarked for Antigua last year, but had to be postponed until June this year.

C.R.I.A has recognized that Lenny Deneb is an artist with a difference as he pursues to fuse together reggae and rock in the Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Lucky Dube tradition, and by extension stretching the boundaries of reggae music to a new dimension, and so aiming to reach audiences far beyond the Caribbean. “Coupled with this, he is an excellent performer to boot” says Lateko Records Marketing Director Cola Elcock.

In October 2010 Lenny’s second album entitled ‘Solidarity’ was released by Lateko Records. This is a compilation CD and is available through CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon.com, eMusic, Amazon UK and others. Included on this CD are some of the artist’ most popular songs such as “Families At War” described by DJ Incarock as a “classic song” and U Can’t Run Nor Hide’. In addition the album includes a number of previously unreleased tracks including ‘Senseless Violence’, and reaction has been very encouraging as Solidarity continues to appear on a number of radio playlists including Off The Chart Radio (UK), Arcadia Radio (Canada), WCVF.FM (New York), Radical FM (LA) and others.

Lenny Deneb is a singer/songwriter and ex-founding member of fairly well-acclaimed British reggae band Cygnus, who in recent times has been delivering his own brand of reggae music described by various reviewers as reggae-rock. He is a writer of excellent lyrics, rhythm and melodies as is evident on his debut album “from the sanctuary” and his recent single release “Settle The Score” available on the Indian record label WOA Records compilation CD “Independent #1’s Various Artist, Volume One.

In 2009 Lenny Deneb signed a three year management and marketing deal with WOA Management for the territories of India and the Middle East. This partnership has seen the artist being represented across India and the Middle East with “Settle the Score” the single and video receiving exposure in the said territories At the time of signing, WOA Management had this to say, "Signing on this artist was a very easy decision for the A&R division due to the high energy and infectious music they make", says W.O.A International Marketing director Wanda Alvares.
