For over 23 years, solo performer and musician Susan Elizabeth has been writing songs for herself and other artists and bands.  Playing guitar, piano, and singing, she played in Paige 23, a trio group, from 1998-2008 and released two CDs with them. She has also played in various bands in addition to Paige 23 as a harmony singer, electric guitarist and keyboardist.  

Influenced by artists such as Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Imogen Heap, Ani DiFranco, and Nine Inch Nails, her style of music has evolved into pop/electronica from folk/rock.  Susan’s debut CD “Wine and Cigarettes” was released in 2009 to rave reviews, especially in Curve magazine, one of the most popular lesbian magazines.

Susan Elizabeth is proud to announce the release of her second CD, “Both Ways,” in the summer of 2011.  Her lead single off this upcoming CD is “I’m in Love With Your Girlfriend,” soon to be available on iTunes and Amazon.com.  This song is a light-hearted account of a girl falling in love with a guy’s girlfriend.  This song is an upbeat pop tune with catchy verses and a great beat.  

What is unique about this new CD is that the theme is about bisexuality.  The songs on this CD vary from dance tunes to eclectic electronica music with intriguing rhythms and lyrics arranged in such a clever and creative way.  It clearly represents the artist herself – not being afraid to express her emotions in any format.  She delivers her life experiences through her music in such an intense way which makes every song a delight to listen to.

•   Susan Elizabeth has had two of her songs, “Love You Anyway” and “You Couldn’t Stop Me” picked up by two NBC shows and played in the shows “Medium” and “Ed” (now canceled).  
•   Recently, “Love You Anyway” and “Unworthy Because,” another tune from Paige 23’s first album, have been played on Style Network’s “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?”
•   She had her first CD release party at the Hard Rock Café in New York City and graced the stage at B.B. King’s Blues Club.

•   She has a publishing deal on “Let Yourself Fall” with ACM Records
•   She received a BMG Scholarship for “Run Run (Too Far From Me)” on “Let Yourself Fall”

Susan Elizabeth is open in regards to her sexuality and would like to unite the gay, bi, and straight communities to listen to messages from all points of view.
