March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas - 3-25-11 - The Brothers Burn continue their frenetic production pace with their third release in 7 months, “A Work in Progress”, available 3/25/11 at all major online media outlets (iTunes, Amazon, Napster, etc.).

Taking a break from their soundtrack work, the brothers have honed 10 new tracks of their signature syncopated, guitar-riff-heavy, synth-laden numbers into a more accessible, danceable sound than the earlier “Flattened Frog” or the soundtrack-based “Music fer what Ails Ye” releases.  Narrowing in on the theme of growth out of imperfection; this release deals with the lessons of maturity; in spurts fast and slow, in darkness and light, and in decisions made, both right and wrong.

About The Brothers Burn
By sheerest accident, the brothers were discovered at an Austin grocery store in the wee hours of the morning, helping themselves to the grapes in the produce section. You need to be able to look past the court's commitment judgment and the obsessive concern about "Mother" to really experience the brothers’ music, which has been compared to the likes of Aphex Twin, Prodigy, and The Crystal Method.
