Follow on Google News | Cynthia C. Fields, Kevin Norwood and Lovelace Lee III Finish Christian Screenplay “Too Young""Too Young" the first screenplay from Perseverance Pictures destined to become a feature film is done. The production now moves into pre-production.
Last December Lee approached writing and business partner the actor-writer Kevin Norwood with the idea of writing TOO YOUNG. ”We had just done the SARAELLA URSERY: PILLAR OF BETHEL AME CHURCH, PERRIS documentary our first film,” Norwood said. “Lovelace is a juggernaut who likes to keep our momentum going and presented the idea of writing a dramatic Christian feature.” Lee and Norwood have written several screenplays together. Twice in the past they brought other writers to the table. “We grow the team and get a better product when we invite screenwriters to the table,” Lee said. This time Lee invited novelist Cynthia Carlisle Fields to join them in writing TOO YOUNG. “Of course Kevin and I established our production company Perseverance Pictures to create films, TV and more. We’re determined to create opportunities for others, too,” Lee said. Norwood is a good friend and loyal partner. However, he didn’t see a full-length screenplay from the premise Lee presented. “Lovelace is a great storyteller,” “We met once in person at my house in San Diego,” Fields said. “We wrote for six straight hours without a break. Lovelace and Kevin proved they are beasts! They’re focused on the craft of screenwriting and get it done.” Fields even joked that she learned so much she expected to receive a bill. All kidding aside, she can now lead her own screenwriting team thanks to the experience. “I’m very grateful,” she said. TOO YOUNG is now in pre-production. The feature-length Christian drama will be shot in Perris, California. # # # Robert Lucy Creative promotes underserved small businesses.
