Elinext Startup Lab: Employee Startups Will Be Noticed

March 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Elinext Group encourages self-development initiatives among developers – study of new technologies, present and promote own interesting ideas and participate in various IT related projects. These were among the reasons to give start to the Elinext Startup Lab project.
The idea behind the project is to develop interesting projects by the company staff members. The project participants will receive bonuses proportionate to their involvement in the development. The outcome applications will be used to achieve the following ends.
•   Deliverable products and solutions marketed by Elinext Group
•   Freeware, shareware and demo materials to attract customers to the company and the corporate website
•   Utilities for the development of other projects
•   Educational materials for other staff members presenting new technologies and technological areas
Elinext Startup Lab Principles
1.   All applicants express their intention via email. The project description includes the following parts.
   a.   Executive Summary
   b.   General description
   c.   Benefits of the application to potential users
   d.   Benefits of the application to the company
2.   Every quarter a board of judges, consisting of the company managers, chooses one application as tender winner. The application development will be paid in full by the company.
3.   Applicants receive a bonus starting with $100.
4.   All other applications can be resubmitted next quarter after revision.
5.   Elinext Group is sole proprietor of the idea and all data of the development projects.
6.   If an application generates high profits for the company, the application author can be entitled to a higher bonus and share in sales.
