Microland Appoints New EVP For International Sales

March 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Microland Limited (www.microland.com), the IT Infrastructure Services specialist, announced today the appointment of Bala Palamadai as the Executive Vice President, Sales for North America and Europe. Bala’s key responsibilities would include accelerating Microland’s growth in those markets through aggressive new customer acquisitions, growth of existing accounts and building strategic partnerships.  Bala brings with him extensive sales leadership experience with a strong background in  Hi-Tech, Manufacturing and Financial Services.

Prior to Microland, Bala was Senior Director at UST Global and was responsible for Sales in the US Central region. At UST, he helped significantly in building and growing the regional presence. Bala was previously at Infosys Technologies, where he spent 9 years in sales and sales leadership roles and saw the company grow multi-fold during his tenure. In the early part of his career, Bala spent 3 years at Andersen as a Senior Business Consultant.

Bala has received numerous awards throughout his career.  Most recently at UST Global, he was recognized for being the “Best Team Player” and for the “Best Use of Organizational Resources”.  Bala has also been a speaker at the Asian Business Conference at the University of Michigan Business School, Ann Arbor, and other industry forums.
Bala holds a B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), New Delhi.
