Re-Evaluating World Sources of Renewable Energy

Matter Of Opinion (MOO), an Atlanta-based opinion survey website, wants to know readers’ thoughts about the recent changes to sources of alternative energy source.

March 15, 2011 - PRLog -- The recent earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear explosion in Japan have brought about great devastation; not only to it's geological structure, but also to the country’s infrastructure, and the stability of its countrymen. This recent tragedy has generated speculation and opened up question about the use of fossil fuels, mainly nuclear energy, as a source of renewable energy. Currently, several new nuclear generators have been licensed in the United States. They are the first new generators approved here in decades. Do we trust nuclear power here in the United States? Wind and sun are still relatively immature renewable resources for the generation of electricity. The utility industry argues it must have a full portfolio of fuels, including fossil fuels, in order to meet demand for power. What would you support?

Matter Of Opinion (MOO), an Atlanta-based opinion survey website, wants to know readers’ thoughts about the recent changes to sources of alternative energy source. The survey’s purpose is to gain insight into public opinion about the issue, and to stimulate productive debate and discussion. Results will be sent directly to President Obama.
