EX UCP graduates join forces to Uncover Hidden Cornwall

March 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Ex UCP graduates, Laura Bower of Treasure Trails and Sharon Sandercock of Cornish Cottages have joined forces to launch the “Discover Cornwall” competition which will launch from the 1st April and will run over the summer period.

The joint competition will give a lucky family of up to five members the chance to win a week’s stay in a Cornish Cottage, accompanied by a specially made and personalised Treasure Trail and a handmade Cornish hamper from Mullion Meadows Craft Centre. The competition will be advertised at the many events and shows that Treasure Trails and Cornish Cottages will be exhibiting at this year in addition to a bespoke competition page on both companies’ websites.

With the current economic climate and significant increase in ‘staycations’, Cornwall’s holiday letting specialist, Cornish Cottages and the award winning Treasure Trails felt that Cornwall’s best areas, arts, culture and festivals simply weren’t receiving the exposure that they deserved. Following discussions concerning their joint interests and beliefs the collaboration was formed to raise the profile of the County and entice people to Cornwall.

Treasure Trails’ Marketing Manager, Laura Bower states; “‘we are always looking for fun and unusual ways to promote our Trails to both tourists and locals. Running a joint promotion with Cornish Cottages seemed like an excellent way to offer our existing customers something extra, as well as get our products in front of people who had never heard of us before”.
