Beginning in March, select Vascular Access Centers located in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Tennessee will host five information nights for interested patients. All CCSVI Information Nights will be held from 6pm until 8pm. The locations and dates are as follows: - Vascular Access Center of Prince George: Wednesday, March 23, 2011 - Vascular Access Center of Atlantic County: Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - Peripheral Vascular Institute of Philadelphia: - Vascular Access Centers of Memphis: Monday, April 11, 2011 - Vascular Access Centers of Jersey City: Thursday, April 14, 2011 CCSVI, which stands for Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency, has received much attention in the medical community for the ongoing research being conducted to determine a possible connection between CCSVI and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). “CCSVI Information Nights will allow our patients to gain a better understanding of CCSVI and how the Liberation procedure (treatment) is performed,” says Andrea Cutillo of Vascular Access Centers. “We take great care to individually screen each patient in order to determine whether they are a suitable candidate for the Liberation Procedure.
