The Hip Event Selected as Public Relations Agency for Project Ladybug

March 2, 2011 - PRLog -- March 2, 2011 (Montclair, NJ) – The Hip Event, a full-service public relations, special events and social marketing firm, was named agency of record for the non-profit organization, Project Ladybug. The Hip Event’s previous work with non-profit organizations and seasoned marketing team were key decision factors for the growing fund.

Project Ladybug was established by former star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dina Manzo, to enrich the lives of children suffering from life-threatening conditions. The fund strives to help families face the financial and emotional hardships during their children’s treatment in the hospital. Through improving the quality of life for these children and families, Project Ladybug hopes to improve outcomes for these young patients.

“Project Ladybug is such a wonderful cause and we are so honored to help in spreading the word,” says The Hip Event founder, Maria Cucciniello.  “Our goal is to raise awareness and influence others to give back to this wonderful organization.”    

The Hip Event will provide strategic local and national outreach to help Project Ladybug expand awareness of the fund and help raise money to create a better experience for the many ladybugs and manbugs who are protected under the fund’s wings.  

Project Ladybug currently has three funds in existence, the Project Ladybug Fund at St. Joseph’s Regional Hospital in Paterson, NJ, Julien’s Project Ladybug Fund at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, and Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago, IL. Funds raised by this organization contribute to patient wigs, hospital computers, birthday celebrations and hospital bills.
