LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is Giving Away a Car... For a Kiss

Feb. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Forty contestants hailing from Oakland, Livingston and Jackson County have been selected to participate in a unique contest that hasn't been seen in this area in quite some time. The event is simply known as "Kiss The Car" and is sponsored by the LaFontaine Automotive Group and 102.9 W4 Country.

Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, forty hopeful participants will pucker up and place their lips on one of two cars in the Showroom at LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) in Saline, MI. The last person standing, or in this case kissing, will be declared the grand prize winner of a two year lease on a brand new car.

Make no mistake about it, everyone involved realizes that this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. To help keep things lively, Brian "Bubba" Cowen, host of Breakfast with Bubba on W4 Country in Ann Arbor, MI and his crew will be broadcasting live from the event for the entire duration of the contest. "The last Kiss The Car event was held over ten years ago, and went on for well over twenty-four hours, so we want to make sure that people are entertained the whole time they are here. " said Bubba.

The rules for the contestants are quite simple. Once the contest begins, all contestants must have both feet placed flat on the ground, with lips firmly planted on the vehicle. Once an hour, every contestant will be given a ten-minute brake to use as they see fit. Other than those officially designate brakes, once those lips leave the car, you are finished.

W4 & LaFontaine CDJR will be giving away other prizes as well for the participants and those in attendance. The second place winner will get 4 Day Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami for 2 with air-fare; and third place will receive one Lady's 18 karat gold diamond heart necklace from Lewis Jewelers located in Ann Arbor, MI.

LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be open during regular business hours during the event, and they expect quite a turn-out. Not only is this a great time to buy or lease a new Chrysler vehicle, but to be able to be a part of the audience is sure to be a thrill for everyone.

"We're actually expecting a record crowd in our showroom this Saturday" says John Nabozny, the Sales Manager for LaFontaine CDJR, "were going to have refreshments and some prizes to giveaway as well for those folks who aren't directly involved in the Kiss The Car event".
