Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Bloomington Airport receives another recognition

Feb. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Bloomington Airport proudly accepted the recognition for achieving an outstanding rating in the Hotel Standards program.
The local Bloomington Normal Convention and Visitors Bureau conducts an annual inspection of hotels in the area.  These visits are unannounced and conducted by various leaders in the community.  The inspection includes safety, security and cleanliness of the property as well as customer service.  Hotels that do not meet the standard may not receive leads for groups inquiring of hotels in the area to utilize.
The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Bloomington Il has received this recognition since the opening of the hotel in 2007.  The hotel is very proud of this honor and takes it very seriously.
The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites continues to acheive recognition from IHG as the Award of Excellence Winner for 2010 based on corporate inspections and guest service scores.  Another award most recently won was the Service of Excellence by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce at the annual Gala in February.
Not to mention, the Holiday Inn employs the Guest Service Manager of the Year, Casey Fisher, whom was recognized as the State winner in December by the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association.
The staff and ownership are most proud of the many accomplishments in the past year.  With these many awards, the Holiday Inn is making a difference in hospitality and also making a difference in the community.
