By: Ciklum The program started on the 1st of February and will last two months. Based on the successful completion of English and technical exams, 20 out of 80 applicants were chosen. The program is led by a Microsoft certified trainer and includes both theory and practicum. Over the course of the program, the students will learn Microsoft .NET 3.5 or 4, C#, ASP.NET, Silverlight, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, ADO.NET, Design patterns, Singleton, Factory, Proxy, Facade, Adapter, MVC, and MVVM. ”We are confident that taking active steps in the direction of filling in the gap between the University program and the Ukrainian IT industry’s needs is strategically important. We feel that we - as a big and successful company - need to contribute to increasing the number of qualified IT specialists in Ukraine. Furthermore, bringing in Juniors is healthy for the teams and economically advantageous for the Clients. So, this is a win-win solution for all – students, clients, teams, and Ciklum,” stated Marina Vyshegorodskikh, Ciklum’s HR Director. “This is Ciklum’s first cooperation with a Ukrainian University, but once this program is proven to be a success, we can replicate it in other Ciklum locations with various technologies,” Upon successful completion of the .NET Trainee Program, selected students will have the opportunity to join Ciklum for a 1-2 months internship, during which they will be given .NET-related tasks by Ciklum’s clients. Hopefully, already in May, 2011, Ciklum’s clients will be able to hire the best graduates as Junior .NET Developers. # # # Ciklum (www.ciklum.net) End
