Tim has over 30 years experience in the Foodservice industry as a Director of Sales, Food Service Sales Manager, Regional Manager, Distributor and Business Development for Universities and Stadiums, Modular Café Systems and Display Food Cases, and has an extensive background working with National Account Management for Airports, Travel Plazas, and Grocery Store chains. He has worked on Global Coffee Initiatives, and has experience with General Contractor Executive Management. “We’ Tim resides in Seattle and is currently working on West Coast Counterra area development for Stone: Granite, Marble, Quartz, and Engineered Stone. Following the collapse of our economy, Tim not only helped Millrock through the bad times but succeeded in helping the company grow and expand. Prior to working for Millrock, Tim was with a Coffee Cart and Kiosk Manufacturer as a Business Development Manager selling espresso equipment, designing carts and coffee kiosks for universities, stadiums, airports, malls, hospitals, casinos and office buildings throughout the nation. Prior, Mr. Layman, spent 12 years with J&J Snack Foods, starting as a Regional Manager in the Pacific Northwest, then as Director of Sales for the western U.S. Primary responsibilities were to create a broker network and work with major accounts such as Marriott, Sodexho, ARA, Compass, NACUF and all school districts throughout the western U.S. He also developed distribution, broker and sales networks throughout western Canada. Over the years, Tim has developed a true talent for coordinating all components of a project. He enjoys working with people on their project from the ground up, and seeing it through to completion. Mr. Layman’s philosophy has always been an advocate of training and educating his clients in an effort to help them become successful. “I want my clients to be educated enough about their project that they can make a sound decision by knowing that the end result will be ergonomically intelligent, cost efficient and meet their expectations” In the coming year, Tim looks forward to leading M4R MILLROCK Counterra with new clients throughout the US and Canada. Tim's leadership spans Modular Cafés, Kiosks, Retail Displays and Architectural Millwork. Tim is now an integral executive to Launching Counterra™ with Area Developers, Fabricators and Installers for Granite, Marble, Quartz and Engineered Stone throughout the Pacific Coast. Tim continues a global focus on Multi Unit Housing, Lodging, redevelopment, and other special projects. Tim is hard at work earning your business.
