By: de'Lady Image Staff Daaiyah “Belovit” Bey, born with Cerebral Palsy, can do any and everything that a non-Cerebral Palsy person can do. Despite called names, treated with derision, at times felt ostracize by peers, and frowned upon, Belovit still maintained her pride, self-worth, and dignity. She also preserved her carefree spirit and love for her fellow peers. Growing up as a child, Belovit used writing as a gateway to express thought, love, and feelings. These mental notes transformed into poetry. Little did she know, her poetry would one day beget poetry lovers of all different facets. Belovit wanted to share her love for poetry with the world and wanted others to do the same. This remarkable young lady launched Belovit (www.belovit.com ): a poetry website where people can post self-written poetry. She wants others to know that despite challenges faced in the world, any and everything is possible. “If you look into the eyes of people that you come across, there is a story within the depths of their soul. These stories help to shape, mode, and transform individuals into the person that is displayed. How a person react to their story will displays their character. A person can let it hinder or propel them to the next level. I choose to let my story be a vehicle for success. I am sharing my story through poetry. As I continue to mode myself into a model citizen, I wish to give people the confidence, desire, and will power to do the same”, states Daaiyah Bey. # # # With our worldwide headquarters located in Atlanta GA, de’Lady is an Entertainment/ End
