MBAF joins Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County for Phone-A-Thon Efforts

Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- BOCA RATON – February 7, 2011 – Nationally recognized public accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC (MBAF) partnered with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPC) to help with fundraising efforts. MBAF hosted the volunteer callers for the Federation, providing its Boca Raton office space and telephones for Federation's Boca West Phone-a-thon. More than $80,000 were raised for the charitable organization.

Funds from the event will benefit more than 30 agencies locally and worldwide, including Federation's four founding beneficiaries – the Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service and the Jewish Association for Residential Care, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling people with disabilities to live full lives in their communities and provide support for their families.

Horwin is a member of the Federation's finance and audit committee and chair of the organization's Professional Advisory Committee (PAC).
