The Meeting Place on Market Appears on Fox’s Hit TV Show glee

LIMA, OHIO (February 9, 2011):  The Meeting Place on Market, a locally owned, independent coffee shop and cafe located in downtown Lima, appeared on the national TV show, GLEE.  The episode aired February 8th, 2011.  The Meeting Place on Market logo appeared in the background of a scene, and later it appeared that a men’s chorus sang at the show’s version of the coffee shop/ café.

The Lima/Allen County Convention & Visitors Bureau has been continually working with the Glee Production Department in Hollywood, California to provide them with props, local company logos and related materials to showcase Lima/Allen County on the program.
“We’re excited that a national show is showcasing actual Lima businesses and organizations.  We hope other locally owned businesses appear as well, because Lima has so much to offer,” says Jennifer Brogee, co-owner of The Meeting Place on Market.
On their 101 Drink Menu, The Meeting Place on Market is currently featuring “Gleeks & Geeks” themed drinks.  Drinks include the Lima Bean Dream, a rich blend of ice cream with vanilla and ground Lima Bean Blend coffee granules.
