Kea new EP release "Wait & See" is now online

Kea started writing poetry and singing at her church before she got into the music scene.  She moved to Berkeley and met a boy who motivated her to pursue her singing career along with her songwriting.  After a bad break up, she wrote and recorded her first single called “Wait & See” in 2000.  Her second single “You Are” was produced in 2003 and “Don’t You” was produced in 2004.  

Kea practiced her craft by reading books about the music industry and about being an independent artist.  She has worked with various producers in this business such as engineers, DJ’s, recording studio owners and later radio and publicity teams.  

With the release of her debut EP “Wait & See”, her lead single “Don’t You” is about something she has asked the boys she’s dated.  You need some questions answered before you take the relationship to the next level such as ‘Don’t you want me?  Don’t you need me?’  It is an upbeat song with the energy of having love in the air in whichever direction it takes you.  It has a sultry feel to it with plenty of catchy hooks and a wonderful layer of song that makes it stand out.  

Kea writes from her life experience.  You can feel her energy in every word and her emotion in the rhythm of the song.  She also writes for her fans making her music relatable, radio friendly and sustainable in this industry.
