Digital Information Business Solutions (DIBS) today announced it has entered into an agreement with Sychron for the reseller rights of its flagship desktop virtualization software product suite, OnDemand DesktopTM. The agreement marks the first of several partnership arrangements planned to be announced by DIBS over the next few weeks. Such partnerships shall be with firms providing complementary products that meet constantly evolving customer needs as DIBS expands to compete in the greater enterprise marketplace.

The partnership between Sychron, an Austin, TX based software firm and DIBS, an IT services firm based in Burbank, CA will provide

   * DIBS with a solution offering that will give it a competitive entry into new enterprise environments
   * Sychron with a prominent presence in the Southern California region.

The relationship is structured to meet the opportunities resulting from the expanded usage demand on networks in general, address the flexibility requirements of an agile workforce and overcome the escalating costs associated with distributed PC networks.

As the cost of supporting  distributed PC based enterprise networks  continues to escalate, organizations are looking for ways to meet their users' processing needs without having to deploy, maintain and control the application and operating software that must be made available on the PC. "Consolidation of IT assets into fewer locations and virtualization is the evolving choice today," comments Marc Schkurman, DIBS CEO.

"OnDemand DesktopTM not only enables deployment of new, less costly virtualized networks, but can be combined with existing networks to make ultimate full transition less bottom-line and resource challenged," adds Paul Sexauer, Sychron Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

DIBS shall begin marketing Sychron's OnDemand DesktopTM in February. DIBs will be a full Sychron service partner able to provide clients with complete VDI solution support including design, deployment, technical support and training.
