Cohort sews on Symantec training badge

Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Value-added distributor Cohort Technology has secured authorised education delivery partner status for Symantec in the UK and Ireland.

Under the terms of the agreement Cohort will supply authorised PGP training for Symantec’s customers and partners from its dedicated training centre in Basingstoke.

“We are delighted to be confirmed as a Symantec authorised education delivery partner. This accreditation means http://www.cohorttechnology.com will offer the new five-day course delivered by its own Symantec-certified instructors which will replace PGP’s three-day PCT course,” said Ian Gilbey, services director at Cohort Technology.

Jasmine Huxtable-Wright, senior manager of Symantec Education Services, was also enthusiastic about the partnership. “I am very pleased to have PGP training now available as part of the whole Symantec portfolio as a result of the acquisition of PGP in 2010.
