ASTRIX appointed to bring exhibitors to showcase at 2011 Hainan RendezVous
Following the participation by exhibitors from Japan at the 2010 Luxury Properties Showcase last December in Beijing, Astrix has been appointed by China Rendez-Vous Ltd to bring exhibitors to Hainan to showcase the best of Japan.

The success of the inaugural event Hainan Rendez-Vous 2010 has motivated the organizers to work harder and plan even better for the second edition of the successful event. The dates have been set for the second spectacular edition of Hainan Rendez-Vous, with a massive increase expected of visitors and exhibitors alike.
The second edition will be held from April 1 to 4, 2011. It is Asia’s first and only exhibition dedicated exclusively to business jets, large yachts and luxury lifestyle. The organizers are determined to build on the stellar success of the inaugural event which showcased 12 business jet brands, over 60 yachts ranging from 40 to 100 feet, and a number of high-end watch marquees, jeweler brands and fashion labels. The sale completed during the event was worth $90 million.
According to the 2010 Hurun Wealth Report released April last year, there are 875,000 multimillionaires and 55,000 billionaires in China, or 6.1 percent more millionaires and 7.8 percent more billionaires than the year before. 2010 Hurun Best of the Best, a survey of China's richest people, stated that Hainan is "the domestic luxury destination of choice for China's wealthy, where they can indulge in their preferred hobbies of swimming and golf."
Dubbed as the “Oriental Hawaii”, Hainan has long been a preferred holiday destination for mainland Chinese tourists, but the island is also quickly earning a reputation as a playground for the country's new rich. Although still in its fledging state to rival the famous French Riviera, Hainan possesses a lot of physical attributes and potential.
