Situated in the heart of Gerace in the southern region of Calabria (ITALY) inside the Museum Civico, our school of Italian language and culture, is surrounded by ancient history from neolithic times through the Greek period and then on to the byzantine era, Romans, Saracens, Normans until we arrive to this day.
Our school is dedicated to teaching the culture of a land which has grown over thousands of years with legends, artists, poets and great writers from here and from afar.
Italian Language Course

A language course vacation in Calabria in our School of Italian Language and Culture "Dante Alighieri" Gerace - presents to you the possibility of having an intensive look at the Italian language and Calabrian culture. We offer a wide-ranging programme of high quality Study Breaks in Calabria from April to November.
Our courses are designed to suit all your needs and we promise to deliver a special Study Break which will leave you in awe of Calabria, its people and the Italian Language.
Culinary Courses

Designed to meet all stages of cooking skills from novice to professional chefs. Whether you are looking for new ideas or you would love to create a special "Southern Mediterranean" dish for a great family meal, we do ensure satisfaction, professionalism, creativeness and an imaginative friendly course. We offer rustic dishes from the Aspromonte Mountains such as the famous wild black bore or grilled calamari from the Ionian Sea with red onion and spices, dishes which will have your pallet watering and beautiful red wine to compliment the many different types of cheese, bread and salami. Calabria has a culture which derives from the Ancient Greek and with that foundation arrives probably the most beautiful cuisine in the world.
Trekking
Our Food for Thought Program is a fantastic way to explore the Aspromonte Mountains whilst gaining knowledge of the culture, language and cuisine of the Calabrian people. We will take you on a journey through the forest's, parks and small villages which still to this day continue to produce some of the finest local dishes Calabria has to offer.
