With cancer costs on the rise J.P. Farley Corporation provides savings

Jan. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- According to a study released by the National Cancer Institute (http://www.nih.gov/news/health/jan2011/nci-12.htm) on January 12, 2011, the costs associated with caring for cancer patients in the United States could rise to $173 billion by 2020. Fortunately for customers of J.P. For a 15-month period from August 1, 2009 through November 30, 2010, J.P. With savings centered on the patients’ plan design by J.P. Farley in cooperation with Biologics, the total 'hard' dollar savings of these 35 patients totaled $909,150. This is an average of $25,975.94 savings for each patient. The ‘soft’ dollar savings from dosage and care management was $58,846, or a patient average of $1,681.31. With an overall savings of over $967,000 for the 35 patients over 15 months in this chemotherapy management program, the savings are over 12 times the fees paid for enrollment in the Biologics treatment program and produced a plan total cost reduction of 1.5%.
