ArtsConnect the First Big Halifax Networking Event of 2011

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, January 25 the business and arts communities will come together in what is anticipated as the new year’s biggest Halifax networking event to date.  ArtsConnect, as the event is being called, is sponsored by Bconnected, Vocalypse, and art&jules Gallery and will take place at the art&jules Gallery on Gottingen Street.

According to Bconnected president, Lynn MacMichael, the purpose of ArtsConnect is to bring the business and arts communities together for a Halifax networking event they will not forget.  The event is being touted as “a meet and greet to get to know each other for the arts and business communities.”

Lynn explains that in addition to engaging in the fun, social networking scene, members of the arts community should come to the event with the intent to “expand their audience, find sponsorships for events, and build relationships in the business community.”  In turn, business people should come prepared to “make new connections, discover cultural events in HRM, and be connected to the broader Arts Community.”

ArtsConnect is being catered by George and Lito’s and will take place from 6:00-8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, January 25 at art&jules Gallery, located at 2089 Gottingen Street in Halifax.  The cost to attend is $10, which can be paid at the door.
