JLS Capital Group announces the appointment of Mr. Michael Chou as Head of Strategy for China.

Jan. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- JLS Capital Group (TOKYO), a pioneering Private Wealth Management firm based in Tokyo, Japan, has announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Chou as Head of Strategy for China at JLS Capital Group.  Mr. Chou will be responsible for devising and implementing the Investment Strategy for China at JLS Capital Group.

JLS Capital Group’s new Head of Strategy for China Mr. Chou has 12 years experience of in Investment Strategy.  As a native of Shanghai, Mr. Chou has an implicit understanding of the cultural, political and economic position and developing trends in China. Before joining JLS Capital Group, Mr. Chou worked for the last 6 years as a consultant to multinational firms seeking to invest in China.  Mr. Chou is a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Chinese Economics, and is a qualified CFA.

JLS Capital Group’s new Head of Strategy for China Mr. Chou will be responsible for the overseeing the firm’s strategy for China.  Issues such as the revaluation of the Yuan, Sovereign investment by the Chinese government and compliance with WTO will form a central part of his work.  Mr. Chou will also review research in order to formulate the firm’s strategy and timing with regards to individual investments.
