Ballarat Brides Expo returns for 2011 - 30th January at Mercure Ballarat

Western Victoria's premier weddings exhibition will be returning in 2011 at the Mercure Convention Centre, Ballarat - bringing the best suppliers of wedding related products and services to regional Victoria with a distinctly metropolitan appeal.
 
Jan. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Ballarat Brides, the regions premier wedding expo will be held on 30th January 10am to 2pm at Mercure Ballarat. This event is popular with industry, brides-to-be, their wedding parties and parents. It is anticipated that 1000 people will be in attendance to view the latest trends and source wedding suppliers to create their dream wedding.

The expo will start on Saturday night with a Speed Date My Wedding event, a new concept being introduced for 2011. The purpose of the event is to provide brides with an opportunity of meeting one on one with wedding industry professionals, to ask questions specific to their own needs and be guided into making the right decisions to help create their perfect dream wedding. There is no additional cost to participating in this event, the event is included in the expo entry fee.

The main expo will commence on Sunday at 10am, each visitor will receive a show bag full of giveaways, discounts and free offers including a Wedding Magazine. Visitors can also participate in the treasure hunt where there is an opportunity to win hourly door prizes and also the major door prize of a holiday to Fiji, wedding gown or fitness package!

There are over 50 leading wedding businesses who are involved in the expo. With so many businesses under one roof this is the perfect planning event for every bride. From wedding planning, venues, decorators’, entertainers, photographers and videographers, stationers, jewellers, fashion, florists, make-up and hair, car hire and honeymoon destinations exhibiting – there will be something to help every bride at all stages of their wedding planning.

There will be two fashion parades held throughout the day at 11am and again at 1pm, showcasing the trends in gowns for 2011 from leading designers and fashion houses. Each parade will feature different gowns.

In addition to the opportunity of visitors talking to leading wedding industry suppliers there will be giant games to be played, rooms to visit on the Mercure property, tables decorated to view, onsite cafe, a range of cars including vintage and classic and a Hummer Limousine to be explored.

Ballarat Brides opens at 10am and closes at 2pm. Tickets are $10 a person and can be
