Biosound Esaote becomes Esaote North America & Announces Vetel Diagnostics as Exclusive Distributor

Jan. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- – During the first quarter of 2011, Biosound Esaote is
undergoing a name transition to become Esaote North America. The purpose of this transition is
to emphasize to the market the relationship with its parent company, the Esaote Group, a global
leader in research, production and marketing of medical diagnostic equipments. The Esaote
Group considers the United States Veterinary community a key priority and is making additional
investments in product development and support through the U.S. operation.
In addition, the wind-down phase of Esaote North America’s former distributor relationship with
UMS Solutions, Inc./Universal Ultrasound has concluded. Vetel Diagnostics of San Luis Obispo,
California, is now the exclusive authorized distributor of MyLab ultrasound systems and
accessories for the United States Veterinary market. Esaote North America first started the
cooperation with Vetel in 2010.
Moving forward, MyLab ultrasound system sales and accessories with the authorized Esaote
warranty will be made available to the veterinary market in the United States exclusively through
Vetel Diagnostics. Esaote North America will provide direct warranty and service for the systems
sold by Vetel and will obviously honor any existing manufacturer service warranties currently in
effect on the installed MyLab units.
