Dec. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- San Luis Obispo, CA -- University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine is holding a three-day seminar for veterinarians, students and related professionals February 26-28, 2010 in Gainesville, FL. This course qualifies for 18 hours of Continuing Education for veterinarians and technicians and for the academic requirement for certification by the American Academy of Thermology.

Veterinarian Dr. Jim Waldsmith, Board Certified in Thermal Imaging and founder of Vetel Diagnostics will be presenting lectures and hands-on training in Thermal Imaging for Equine patients and proper camera utilization. Additional topics will be presented by experts such as Tracy Turner, DVM, MS, DACVS, Kimberly Henneman, DVM, FAAVA, CVA, CVC, Mike Walsh, DVM, MS, and Mike Corcoran.  This seminar involves case-based problem solving, practical experience and Web Lab sessions with Thermal Imaging modalities to provide realistic exposure and training.
