Luxury leather brand expands with new SS11 collection

Jan. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- BoBelle London will be showcasing their new Envelope Collection featuring neutral shades such as Mocha, Khaki and Dusty Pink at Prêt à Porter, Paris (G146) and Pure, Olympia London (K8) in January and February 2011.

BoBelle London have been experiencing vast growth and are thrilled with the new SS11 collection. Each accessory is hand made and lovingly made using the luxurious eel skin leather.

Eel skin leather is incredibly soft, strong and supple. It gets softer the more it is used and does not crack like cow hide can. It is known as the ‘silk of the ocean’ and is wonderful in touch and durability.

Each accessory is named after a Greek Goddess as eel skin is known to bring good luck and love, according to Greek Mythology.

The BoBelle London brand has over 70 stockists in the UK and Ireland including Fenwick Brent Cross, Fenwick Newcastle and Elys of Wimbledon.

Eel skin leather is incredibly soft, strong and luxurious. It is a by-product of the food industry in Asia where eels are extensively farmed for their meat and the skin is discarded. It is a viable alternative to other exotic leathers, such as crocodile skin and snakeskin, which are primarily killed for their skin alone. Eels are a valuable source of nutrition in Asia and the leather we use would otherwise go to waste.
