Mixed Signals: The Nuclear O’Reilly Remixes CD Release Party:

Jan. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- History unfolded with creative flow and electric entertainment Wednesday Nov. 17 as Nuclear O’Reilly celebrated their newest project Mixed Signals at the official release party  hosted by Make It Happen Entertainment and DJ DAN C.E. at the Underground Lounge (955 West End Ave) on New York City’s Upper West Side.  JSW Media Group was there to witness it firsthand.

Jared DiDomenico and Brad Naprixas are the visionary music producers (and artists in their own right) behind Nuclear O’Reilly (Nuclear O.). Nuclear O. is the group that created the world’s first commercially available, full-length album made solely on an iPhone. The album, “Phoning It In” showcases the duo’s immense talent and flair for innovation. “Mixed Signals” proves to be a continuation of the same type of free form musical creativity, now using more traditional recording techniques. Nuclear O’Reilly has re-imagined notable songs from Alicia Keys, David Bowie, The Streets, Erykah Badu and more, thus creating entirely new songs from the ground up, using only each artist’s original vocals as the foundation—this is far from your run of the mill remix album, DiDomenico and Naprixas are trendsetters.

High energy and anticipation filled the room as those in attendance waited for Nuclear O’Reilly’s official CD release. All guests received signed copies of Mixed Signals, and the crowd mix and mingled for the rest of the evening, while listening to the tunes of Nuclear O. The electric vibe included a  live painter who created a piece of artwork onsite while Nuclear O’s music was pumping through the air. Later in the evening “Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc., a federally recognized nonprofit organization that supports cancer research through music, announced their official partnership with Nuclear O’Reilly. This cause is near and dear to both DiDomenico and Naprixas as they have lost friends and family to cancer.
