Latinos in Social Media announces its scholarship opportunity to The BlissDom 2011 Conference!

Dec. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Latinos in Social Media [LATISM], a national non-profit organization dedicated to empower Latinos to adopt and make full use of online social networks and applications, has just announced that have established an endowed scholarship fund to help social media professionals in the world of social media to participate in initiatives such as attending mainstream conferences and events throughout the year.

The LATISM Blissdom Conference Scholarhip will award TWO Latina bloggers for their leadership, particularly related to LATISM’s tenets of service, research and leadership. The award winners are selected from a competitive class of applicants based on their outstanding accomplishments. "One of our main objectives at LATISM is to provide capacity-building training, information, resources and networking opportunities for Latinos in the social media arena. We are pleased to be able to offer our members this opportunity to attain greater visibility at a mainstream conference," said LATISM Founder and Chair, Ana Roca-Castro.

The LATISM Blogger Scholarship aims to select bloggers who wish to learn more about blogging, develop their writing style, and network with other bloggers and industry professionals in the creative, fun environment that the Blissdom 2011 Conference offers.

THE 2 SCHOLARSHIPS CONSIST OF:

Round-trip airfare
A Full-conference registration pass,
A shared room at a pre-determined hotel

TO QUALIFY:
