LATISM Announces Last Call to Pitch to Venture Capitalists At Its Latino2 Tech Startup Conference

With the theme “Jumpstarting An Innovation Revolución,” Latino2 will place emerging Latino Technology Startups in front of Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors

June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington, DC – Latinos in Tech Innovation & Social Media (LATISM) today extended a last call for Latino(a) Tech Startups to Pitch to Venture Capitalists. The event, to be held on June 7, 2012, at the Google offices in New York City, will address the needs of entrepreneurs and developers who are launching successful scalable ventures and smart investors who care about diversity. The full-day event will offer learning, mentoring and networking opportunities for Tech Entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists, including a pitching competition for early-stage Latino tech startups. Confirmed Venture Capitalists participating include representatives from Comcast Venture, Google Ventures, Needham Co, Trinity Ventures, DreamIt, Jaila Ventures, Gust, Arc Angel Fund, Dave Rose & Joanne Wilson and more. Beginners Track - The Dream
La Idea: Turn your idea into a concrete actionable project.

Intermediate Track - The Wake Up Call
El Deck: What's in the Business Plan? Best & Worst examples
El Team: Marrying your co-founder - Understand what you have and what you need.
La Grana: How much do you need? How much will you make? How long will it take you? Understanding valuation, forecast in plain & simple terms.

Advance Track - The Deal
El Pitch: Develop a killer pitch that will knock them dead!
El Hunt: You're ready! so now what? Learn where and how to connect with investors.
Mentors & Accelerators: You've been ready by haven't had any luck? is it luck? Or you might need extra help?  Meet the champions who have dedicated their lives to make you succeed.
