-- The New York Times said according to Steve Ballmer (chief executive of Microsoft), this firm will show off the operating system on a tablet PC during his speech at the show. Dell, Samsung and other firms will run the Windows 8 on the table PC. This newspaper also said that Ballmer will display quickly Windows 8 which runs on the tablet PC.
The manufacturers expect this show from Microsoft’s chief executive when Microsoft is surpassed by Apple and Android operating system (Google) in the tablet PC market. Gartner research firm predicts that 54.8 million tablet PCs will be sold in 2011.
In 2010, Ballmer promised in his speech that Microsoft would release the tablet PC which ran Window in this year; however, until now it has not been appeared. According to some analysts, the tablet PC was expected to run on Windows 7 and Windows had a lot of small control buttons, so that these reasons lead to the slow appearance of the product. Windows 8 will release in 2012.
The New York Times said that Samsung-manufacturer will show off its Windows table PC which is similar in size and shape to the Apple’s iPad, although it is not as thin. One outstanding feature of this Samsung’s product is the slide keyboard. It will run the Windows 7 and have the touched screen.
Ballmer is not the first person who shows off the Windows tablet PC. The pioneer in this field is Acer manufacturer. Acer introduces the tablet PC which runs Windows 7 and it will be released on February, 2011.
