New2Me Canada launches online shopping destination for previously loved and gently used fashion

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Toronto -- A unique site showcasing a varied inventory of 400+ one-of-a-kind products: ladies', men's and kid's clothing and accessories, shoes, purses, jewellery, household items and home decor... and loads of other stuff.

New2Me was created when 4 friends with jammed-to-the-rafters closets decided to share and exchange their high quality, gently used fashion treasures. First, among themselves and then... with the world!

So an online consignment model was developed where anyone can present potential items for sale on the site. New2Me carefully manages quality control, merchandising and customer service.

"We've received overwhelmingly positive feedback to this whole idea of sharing and recycling", says Teresa Botelho, one of the founding partners. "It's truly astounding to see the quantity and quality of merchandise we've assembled from the first dozen-or-so Consignors."

The site is attractively designed and very easy to navigate with peppy, fun copy details. The photos and descriptions make it easy to fall in love with everything from a Cinderella prom dress to a stuffed lamb wearing a sheep-motif sweater! "Presenting the entire, ever-changing inventory online is work-intensive, to be sure, and we're very careful with quality control and sizing," adds Regina Filippov, a second partner. "We're committed to reaching out and keeping in touch with our customers to ensure satisfaction."

Customers need to act quickly - because every item is unique, once it's sold, it's gone for good. And new merchandise is being added regularly, as new Consignors are being welcomed to the community.
