Driving Just Got Fun with Damibu's DrivingFX App'

New mobile and Facebook developer Damibu has just released it's first app' that audibly augments reality whilst the user drives their car. The app' uses the device's accelerometer to measure g-forces and plays sound effects when corners are taken.

Dec. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Damibu's DrivingFX is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch and is FREE to download from the App Store now!

Do you remember your childhood days making driving noises as you played with your toy car?  Were you the race car driver, skidding the wheels round the corners?  Now, as you sit in your family car, do you still make the same noises?  If so this App is for you!

Damibu's "DrivingFX" uses your device's accelerometer to measure g-forces during driving and plays sound effects when you take corners.  The sound effects are grouped by theme and into FX Sets, with each set containing at least ten unique sounds. To start with, "DrivingFX" comes with a tire skidding and screeching FX Set which sounds just like the noises you used to, or maybe still do, make.

For even more fun, why not purchase the additional "FX Pack 1" from the in-app store.  This single purchase will provide four more entertaining FX Sets...
Applause - Get positive re-enforcement with every turn.
Girl Screams - For times when your girlfriend (or mum) isn't available.
Boy Screams - For times when your boyfriend (or dad) isn't available.
Cowboys - Go back to the American West.

World-wide uptake of the app' can be viewed on the User Map that is part of the app's Facebook page at the below link...
