Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Energion Publications announces the January 3, 2011 release of a new book, Ephesians: A Participatory Study Guide. Following the outlines of the Participatory Study Method, Dr. Robert Cornwall presents a study guide to the book of Ephesians that is both usable and challenging while not skirting the difficult issues.  These eight lessons take you through this letter to the Ephesians leading from the history and background to modern application and sharing in corporate study and worship.

Whether you are approaching this book as an individual, as a small group, or in a larger classroom setting, this study guide (http://energionpubs.com/books/1893729842/) will provide you with direction, exercises, and questions for discussion and further investigation.

Dr. Robert D. Cornwall is currently the Pastor of Central Woodward Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Troy, Michigan and the editor of Sharing the Practice, the journal of the Academy of Parish Clergy. Dr. Cornwall has also served as Associate Professor of Theology of Manhattan Christian College (Manhattan, KS) and Visiting Assistant Professor of Church History at Fuller Theological Seminary.   In addition to his ministry and writing responsibilities, Cornwall has long been active in ecumenical and interfaith activities.

Dr. Cornwall holds a M.Div. and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.  He is also a graduate of Northwest Christian University in Eugene, OR and did graduate work in American History at the University of Oregon. He is the author/editor of several books,  has contributed articles to a number of books, encyclopedias, and journals, and writes for several blogs including Ponderings on a Faith Journey (personal blog), Theolog, and [D]mergent.

Bob Cornwall is married to Cheryl, who is now retired from teaching, and father of Brett, a student at the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan.
