The difference is how each one goes about it. I failed at my internet marketing business 4 times before I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Most people who failed believed all the hype about how easy it is to make money on the internet and invested in products that say you can earn money right away once you purchase these "can't fail" products. Most, if  not all of those so called products are baloney. Internet marketing is not that easy, but can be learned by anyone willing to invest a little time and effort.

Internet Marketing Success vs. Failure:

The quickest way to fail in internet marketing is to buy a product that guarantees overnight success. Another common way to fail is to find or develop a product and then try to find a market for it. I must confess that I tried both of these methods and both failed so I speak from experience.

The best way to succeed is to find a market first and then get in front of that market. In other words, find out what people are buying and then develop your internet marketing business around that market. Find out where people are spending their money and then find or develop a product in that market.

There's a little more involved in success as a work from home internet marketer, but that is a good broad look at how to succeed. The bottom line is to follow the hot market. Research is the key to finding the right market so that you don't spin your wheels. If you do your research first, you have a much better chance of success.

For me I found that internet marketing is the best solution for increasing my retirement income. It offers me the ability to earn extra income working from home at my convenience. It allows me to enjoy my retirement without having to go to a job. It allows me to travel at my leisure and continue to work my internet marketing business on the road.

The key for me was to learn a step by step approach to learning market research, how to set up a website and how to market on the internet. All of the steps that are needed to set up and run an internet marketing business can be learned by anyone with average intelligence and basic computer skills. It isn't rocket science. As a non-technical person myself, I was able to learn it all.
