Toastmasters International District 30 proudly announces Mayor Eugene Siegel as the recipient for the 2010 Communication and Leadership Award.  
District 30 is composed of four counties that are: Cook, Lake, McHenry and DuPage in Northern Illinois.  This District traditionally recognizes a non-Toastmaster that has shown outstanding leadership and communication skills every year.

Honorable Mayor Siegel, who has dedicated himself to decades of outstanding service to his community, by developing growth, progress and security for its’ citizens, was awarded the C&L Award at the District 30 2010 FALL CONFERENCE on November 6, 2010 in Countryside, IL.  His award was presented to him at the banquet with over 400 members and guests in attendance, by Kyle Roti, DTM, the District Governor of District 30 Toastmasters.

Mayor Eugene Siegel is part of a highly respected list of individuals who have been recognized with this award since 1972.   He joins an elite group of accomplished individuals such as Harry Porterfield, Eric Soderholm, Oscar Brown, Chuck Swirski, W. Clement Stone and more.
