Hudson Valley Hospital Center Gives 1,000 Pies to Employees as Part of Thanksgiving Tradition

Hudson Valley Hospital Center gives Apple and Pumpkin pies to its 1,000 employees as part of a Hospital tradition for 15 years.

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Apple was more popular than Pumpkin, but both varieties were appreciated by the 1,000 employees at the Hospital who received pies on November 24 as part of a Thanksgiving tradition at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. The Hospital ordered 1,000 pies from Homestyle Bakery in Peekskill. Hospital management distributes the pies to employees who come  to pick up them up the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Many bring their families and take time to chat with management and staff.  It's all part of the Hospital's efforts to reward employees and make them feel appreciated. It’s one of the reasons that the Hospital has been cited - by Press Ganey and Westchester Magazine - as one of the top places to work in Westchester, and the nation, alongside corporate giants like MasterCard, New York Life and Morgan Stanley.
