Women's Business Development Center Sets Connection Points Networking Event for November 30

Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL –Women business owners in Website Development, Web Hosting, Graphic Design, Communications and Social Media who want to connect and learn with other women-owned industry peers should plan to attend Connection Points, a networking event exclusively for women in these industries presented by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC).

The event will be held Tuesday, November 30, at the Microsoft offices in the Aon Center, 200 E. Randolph St., Room MPR2, in Chicago, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

This Connection Points event will include networking, a short panel discussion addressing current industry-specific issues and time for Q&A.  Learn about trends in marketing through the use of technology, how to select resources and advisors, and the costs one could expect for utilizing the services of consultants.  Participants should bring business cards and descriptive materials of their company for networking and the literature table.

The WBDC’s Connection Points networking series is dedicated to connecting established woman-owned businesses by profession and industry, helping these businesses locate each other when in need of specific types of products/services, and encouraging women to discover and utilize the resources of the WBDC.
