Frost & Sullivan Hosts the Indo Aerospace 2010 Seminar in Jakarta

The Indo Aerospace 2010 Seminar organised in partnership with PT Napindo, will focus on maximizing growth opportunities in the aviation industry via an exchange of insights and views of the many industry experts assembled at the conference.
 
Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Jakarta – Frost & Sullivan hosted the region’s Aerospace community at the Indo Aerospace 2010 Seminar held on Friday, November 12 at the JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. Over 300 top decision makers from both Government and commercial sectors from the aviation field participated in this half-day program.

The Indo Aerospace 2010 Seminar organised in partnership with PT Napindo, will focus on maximizing growth opportunities in the aviation industry via an exchange of insights and views of the many industry experts assembled at the conference.

“The aviation industry in Asia Pacific has enjoyed relatively consistent growth over the past decade. Even during the economic crisis, the industry in APAC performed better than its’ western counterparts,” says Subhranshu Sekhar Das, Director-Asia Pacific, Aerospace & Defense Practice at Frost & Sullivan. Sectors that sustained the industry in this region include aircraft parts manufacturing, airlines, MRO as well as the airports industry.

“Robust growth is projected for the MRO service providers beginning from the second half of 2010. Various factors are shaping the present dynamics of the industry,” adds Das.

The summit revolved around the theme “Empowering Indonesia’s Aerospace Industry to increase National Aerospace Capabilities” as Frost & Sullivan endeavours to provide ideas and analyses on the feasible growth opportunities and key challenges that are present in the defense market.

Topics at the summit include Changing MRO Business Dynamics in Asia Pacific, Improved Cooperation Among Airlines and Airports, Airline Growth in Asia Pacific & Evolutionary Dynamics of the Airline Business Model, and the Outlook for the industry in the Asia Pacific region and the implications for MRO. The aim of these sessions is to promote intra-industry interaction and cross learning that maximises the knowledge and experience of all participating delegates.

The seminar was officiated by Herry Bakti Singayuda Gumay, Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation, Republic of Indonesia.

The Indo Aerospace 2010 Seminar was held in conjunction with the Indo Aerospace 2010 Expo & Forum, 2nd Indonesia’s Official Aviation, Aircraft & Airport Technology Show. The seminar was organized in partnership with PT Napindo.
