Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- “Fatty's: Where Poker Gets REAL” is a new reality television show currently in production. The show follows the adventures, both on and off the felt, of larger-than- life characters showing off their passion for poker and life at a New York Members-Only Club.

New York, NY – The new reality series “Fatty’s: Where Poker Gets Real,” currently in production, has been gaining the attention of the poker industry and public alike over the past few months.  Since the announcement of the show concept, and invasion of ten “Fattys” playing at the 2010 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas in July, the project has been recognized in the media, as well as by casinos and corporate sponsors.

Represented by the law firm Abrams Fensterman, through its Entertainment Group headed by Brian Bloom, the Fatty's Docu-Reality show is currently meeting with network executives.  According to Bloom, “The show is more than concept; it is taking on a life of its own due to the characters involved and the success of the players."

Earlier this year, one of the firm's senior partners and show creator Scott "Scotte Mayhem" Einiger approached his partners to discuss chronicling his adventures as an amateur poker player.  After getting the green light from his firm, Einiger-by-day/Mayhem-by-night reached out to his poker friends and co-creators Mike “the Nose” Castaldo, club owner, and poker professional “Big” Al Riccobono to discuss the show concept that would feature the Fatty club players.

As the poker world takes notice of the Fatty’s project, due to the success of its players at the 2010 World Series Main Event and local tournaments, the signing of Lacey Jones to be a hostess on the show has caused a buzz as well.

Many corporate sponsors have also come aboard. In addition to Blue Shark eyewear, ScotteVest clothing and several charity sponsors, Boomerang Energy Drink recently signed on to be the official drink of the Fatty’s Show.
Boomerang is the popular new energy drink favored by many of the New York Yankee players and media hosts. It was introduced to the Championship baseball organization and to the Fatty’s Show by Carlos Silva, producer of the Yankees post-game radio show.  Also the CEO of Boomerang, Silva adds, “The Fatty’s reality show is a perfect fit for our flavorful drinks; the ENERGY that is exuded from the Fatty’s players is in line with the feeling of power for those who try our products. Besides, ‘Big Characters’ like ‘Big Flavor’ so it was a natural fit.”  Said Castaldo,  “We only endorse products if our players like and will use them. Carlos’s drinks are fantastic and he is affiliated with a first class championship organization.”

The momentum continues to build.  Club owner Castaldo noted, “We are a train wreck waiting to happen. Well maybe more like a big snowball of ‘Fattys’ rolling downhill.”  Co–creator and poker pro Big Al Riccobono pointed to Nose Casaldo’s “protruding beak” and added,  “With a Nose like his, how can we not get noticed?”  Big Al and Mike the Nose have cashed in at major events in the last few months at the Borgata Open.  Kenny “the Kid” Hoffman finished in the top 2% in the WSOP Main Event, and show creator Scotte Mayhem Einiger knocked out Phil Ivey, the number one world-ranked Poker Pro.  “It was quite an eventful few months for all the Fatty’s players and there is much more to come,” said Einiger.

Next for Fatty’s is a soon-to-be-announced casting call “Fatty’s Experience” at a regional casino where poker players and fans will participate in a live poker tournament with a guaranteed prize pool and fantastic giveaways from its sponsors. The event will include a pre-tournament party to be attended by popular poker professionals and celebrities, a chance to be on the show through the live casting call during the event, along with meet and greet play with the Fatty’s stars and the show’s hostess, International Model Lacey Jones.
