1. It is a good idea to start lunch or dinner with a bowl of salad.This will cut down the desire to overeat.

2. Fast completely one day in a week.

3. Fix one day in the week when you will only take liquids.

4. Fix one day in the week when you will take only fruits and raw vegetables, or for that matter anything in natural form.

5. Miss one major meal. Select whichever method you find most suitable. Office goers can have a glass of juice or a sandwich rather that a regular lunch.
