Strategic Guru Recognized with Two MarCom Awards

Nov. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- MORRISVILLE, N.C. – Strategic Guru, a Triangle-based marketing agency, has been recognized with two awards in the 2010 MarCom Awards sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.  The firm received a Gold Award and an Honorable Mention.

A Gold Award was given for a lead generation campaign created for a local technology firm.  To drive inquiries for the organization’s disaster prevention and recovery programs, an email campaign that prompted recipients to visit their personalized landing page was developed that used “strange but true” stories of data loss as the theme.

An Honorable Mention was conferred for brand strategy and logo design for Flexible Production and Assembly. A division of Community Workforce Solutions Inc., Flexible Production and Assembly provides outsourced production and assembly services.  The organization is currently pursuing ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications.  The logo reflects the quality work they provide and will be used in print and digital marketing materials.

The MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Judging is provided by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals who looks for companies whose talent exceeds an established high standard of excellence.  Strategic Guru has won two MarCom Platinum Awards, one Gold Award and one Honorable mention since 2007.
